For the tens of thousands of children who go to bed hungry each night in the Houston area, an afternoon snack or evening meal is a necessary blessing. That is why the Houston Media Classic takes pride in making the Houston Food Bank the event¹s primary beneficiary for over 13 years and continues to support their fight against hunger.

The Houston Food Bank serves 400 hunger relief agencies in an 18-county service area including food pantry programs, shelters for the homeless, safe havens for the battered and abused, as well as nutrition sites for children and the elderly.
